Inner Peace for the Holidays

Second Annual Free Event, Downtown Courtenay, Monday, November 26, Time: 6:30-8:30 pm. Registration required by November 23.

There is an assumption that holidays are full of happiness and loving connection with family and friends. Advertisers promote meals, gifts and events that promise joy and excitement but often don’t match our real experiences.

Holidays can be filled with loneliness, scarcity and overwhelm. Even if you have family to share holidays with, there can be the stress of gift purchases, making meals and hosting get-togethers. There can be reactivity to family members who may make hurtful remarks or abuse substances to cope with their holiday distress. Further, the very lack of happiness during the holidays can result in sadness and confusion about one’s own worthiness to have the happiness everyone else appears to enjoy.

If this sounds familiar, I invite you to attend a free, 2-hour experience to discover a simple and effective technique to be with your feelings in a safe way. You may discover what you really feel about the holidays, what you really need, and possible options that you prefer to experience. Perhaps you can shift from just surviving the holidays to accepting what is and finding inner peace.

This free event will take place Monday, November 26, 6:30 - 8:30 pm in downtown Courtenay. To register, please call, text or email me and I will provide the location. Space is limited.
